Jump sports diary by Jay Garrick
24/11/09 I, Ashley & Monique, went to visit a youth club in Hackney on the 24th November 2009; Monique was there to demonstrate her boxing talents, and she did so very well, she was even a bit of a celebrity as nearly everybody who was there had heard about her recent achievements. We were also there for a very special occasion as Sir Steve Redgrave an Olympic champion in rowing and the sports minister Gerry Sutcliffe were to be in attendance. They were there to talk to young people who have had their lives changed by sports, and we had the pleasure of meeting them and had a chance to take some photos.
5/12/09 Jumps football team triumphs once again!
The JUMP football team are crowed national champions for a sec ond time with yet more success in Manchester. It is a great achievement for Coach David Thomas and the boys, as the JUMP trophy cabinet grows ever larger.
